٠٨ - وينبغي لجميع الجهات الفاعلة في العقد أن تشجع في اتصالاتها مع وسائط الاعلام، تعزيز التغطية الجماهيرية لقضايا حقوق اﻹنسان، ووضع برامج تقدم معلومات وأفكار عن حقوق اﻹنسان وتسهم في الحوار الجماهيري حول حقوق اﻹنسان، مع إيلاء الاحترام الكامل لاستقلال وسائط اﻹعلام وحرية اﻹعلام والتعبير.

The meeting had been guided by the mandate of the Economic and Social Council as set out in its resolution 1987/24 and its members were experts selected by the Secretary-General on the basis of their ability to provide information and ideas that might lead to recommendations as to the most effective measures for dealing with the issue.

80. ٠٨ - ينبغي لجميع الفاعلين في العقد أن يشجعوا في اتصالاتهم مع وسائط الاعلام، تعزيز التغطية الجماهيرية لقضايا حقوق الانسان، ووضع برامج تقدم معلومات وأفكار عن حقوق الانسان وتسهم في الحوار الجماهيري حول حقوق الانسان، مع إيلاء الاحترام الكامل لاستقلال وسائط الاعلام وحرية اﻹعلام والتعبير.

2. Calls upon the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to extend its cooperation to the Food and Agriculture Organization, and appeals to relevant international financial and development organizations to provide the intergovernmental working group with relevant information and ideas that can help in the formulation of meaningful guidelines;
2- تطلب إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان أن تتعاون مع منظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة، وتناشد المنظمات المالية والإنمائية الدولية ذات الصلة تزويد الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي بما يتصل بهذا الموضوع من معلومات وأفكار من شأنها المساعدة في صياغة مبادئ توجيهية مجدية؛

59. In article 10 (1) of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 1950, the Council of Europe states that everyone has the right to freedom of expression, a right that includes freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers.
59- ينص المجلس الأوروبي، في الفقرة 1 من المادة 10 من الاتفاقية الأوروبية لحماية حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية لعام 1950، على أن لكل شخص حق التمتع بحرية التعبير، وهو حق يشمل حرية اعتناق الآراء وتلقي معلومات وأفكار ونقلها دون مضايقة من جانب السلطات العامة ودونما اعتبار للحدود.

60. Article 11 (1) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights adopted in 2000 by the European Union explicitly guarantees the right to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authorities and regardless of frontiers.
60- أما الفقرة 1 من المادة 11 من ميثاق الحقوق الأساسية الذي اعتمده الاتحاد الأوروبي في عام 2000، فتكفل صراحةً الحق في تلقي معلومات وأفكار ونقلها دون مضايقة من جانب السلطات العامة ودونما اعتبار للحدود.

514. Under the Code on Children and Adolescents, the right to freedom of expression includes the right to express oneself freely, to seek, receive and disseminate information and ideas of all kinds, orally, in writing or by any other chosen medium, subject only to the restrictions imposed by law, public order or public health or morals to protect the safety, rights and fundamental freedoms of others.
514- وفي إطار قانون الطفولة والمراهقة، يشمل الحق في حرية التعبير الحق في التعبير بكل حرية والبحث عن معلومات وأفكار من أي نوع، والحصول عليها ونشرها، سواء أكان ذلك بطريقة شفوية أو خطية أو بأي طريقة أخرى يختارونها، مع مراعاة القيود الوحيدة التي يفرضها القانون، أو النظام العام، أو الصحة أو الأخلاقيات العامة بغية حماية أمن الآخرين وحقوقهم وحرياتهم الأساسية.

(h) To ensure, in particular, the right of all individuals to worship, assemble or teach in connection with a religion or belief and their right to establish and maintain places for these purposes, and the right of all individuals to seek, receive and impart information and ideas in these areas;
(ح) أن تكفل بوجه خاص حق جميع الأفراد في العبادة أو التجمع أو التدريس لأغراض تتعلق بدين أو معتقد وحقهم في إقامة وصيانة الأماكن المهيأة لهذه الأغراض، وحق جميع الأشخاص في التماس معلومات وأفكار في هذه المجالات وفي تلقيها ونشرها؛

(g) To ensure, in particular, the right of all persons to worship, assemble or teach in connection with a religion or belief and their right to establish and maintain places for these purposes, and the right of all persons to seek, receive and impart information and ideas in these areas;
(ز) أن تكفل على وجه خاص حق جميع الأشخاص في العبادة أو التجمع أو التدريس لأغراض تتعلق بأي دين أو معتقد وحقهم في إقامة وصيانة الأماكن المهيأة لهذه الأغراض، وحق جميع الأشخاص في التماس وتلقي وتوزيع معلومات وأفكار في هذه المجالات؛
