Article 2 of the Convention defines: " Reasonable accommodation means necessary and appropriate modification and adjustments not imposing a disproportionate or undue burden, where needed in a particular case, to ensure to persons with disabilities the enjoyment and exercise on an equal basis with others of all human rights and fundamental freedoms " .
وتبين المادة 2 من الاتفاقية أن: " " الترتيبات التيسيرية المعقولة " تعني التعديلات والترتيبات اللازمة والمناسبة التي لا تفرض عبئا غير متناسب أو غير ضروري، والتي تكون هناك حاجة إليها في حالة محددة، لكفالة تمتع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة على أساس المساواة مع الآخرين بجميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية``.

Reasonable accommodation is defined as follows: " `Reasonable accommodation'means necessary and appropriate modification and adjustments not imposing a disproportionate or undue burden, where needed in a particular case, to ensure to persons with disabilities the enjoyment or exercise on an equal basis with others of all human rights and fundamental freedoms " (art. 2).

The Committee further recalls that under article 2 of the Convention, " reasonable accommodation " means necessary and appropriate modification and adjustments not imposing a disproportionate or undue burden, where needed in a particular case, to ensure to persons with disabilities the enjoyment or exercise on an equal basis with others of all human rights and fundamental freedoms.
وتشير اللجنة كذلك إلى أن المادة 2 من الاتفاقية تنص على أن " الترتيبات التيسيرية المعقولة " تعني التعديلات والترتيبات اللازمة والمناسبة التي لا تفرض عبئاً غير متناسب أو لا مبرر له، والتي تكون ضرورية في حالة محددة لكفالة تمتع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة على أساس المساواة مع الآخرين بجميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية وممارستها.

29. The Convention defines reasonable accommodation as " necessary and appropriate modification and adjustments not imposing a disproportionate or undue burden, where needed in a particular case, to ensure to persons with disabilities the enjoyment or exercise on an equal basis with others of all human rights and fundamental freedoms " (art. 2).
29- تعرِّف الاتفاقية الترتيبات التيسيرية المعقولة بأنها " التعديلات والترتيبات اللازمة والمناسبة التي لا تفرض عبئاً غير متناسب أو غير ضروري، والتي تكون هناك حاجة إليها في حالة محددة، لكفالة تمتع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة على أساس المساواة مع الآخرين بجميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية وممارستها " (المادة 2).

Additionally, article 2, paragraph 4, defines reasonable accommodation as " necessary and appropriate modification and adjustments not imposing a disproportionate or undue burden, where needed in a particular case, to ensure to persons with disabilities the enjoyment or exercise on an equal basis with others of all human rights and fundamental freedoms " .

"
