Paragraph 7 of Article 13 of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants states that the Conference of the Parties shall at its first meeting adopt appropriate guidance to be provided to the mechanism and shall agree with the entity or entities participating in the financial mechanism upon arrangements to give effect thereto.

The Conference of the Parties shall review, in consultation, as appropriate, with the entity or entities entrusted with the operation of the financial mechanism, the effectiveness of the present guidance on a regular basis and update and prioritize it as necessary.
يقوم مؤتمر الأطراف، كلما كان ذلك ملائما، وبالتشاور مع الكيان أو الكيانات الموكل إليها تشغيل الآلية المالية، باستعراض مدى فعالية الإرشادات الحالية بصفة منتظمة وتحديث هذه الإرشادات وتحديد أولوياتها كلما كان ذلك ضرورياً.(1)

Recalling Article 13, paragraph 7, of the Convention which stipulates that, " pursuant to the objectives of the Convention and paragraph 6 of Article 13, the Conference of the Parties shall at its first meeting adopt appropriate guidance to be provided to the mechanism and shall agree with the entity or entities participating in the financial mechanism upon arrangements to give effect thereto " ;

The Conference of the Parties shall review, in consultation, as appropriate, with the entity or entities entrusted with the operation of the financial mechanism, the effectiveness of the present guidance on a regular basis and update and prioritize it as necessary. Such reviews will coincide with the schedule of reviews for the effectiveness of the financial mechanism.
يقوم مؤتمر الأطراف، كلما كان ذلك ملائما، وبالتشاور مع الكيان أو الكيانات الموكل إليها تشغيل الآلية المالية، باستعراض مدى فعالية الإرشادات الحالية بصفة منتظمة وتحديث هذه الإرشادات وتحديد أولوياتها كلما كان ذلك ضرورياً.() وتتوافق هذه الاستعراضات مع الجدول الزمني لعمليات استعراض فعالية الآلية المالية.
