65. In light of these considerations, and consistent with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement, the Representative makes the following recommendations:

In 2008, the Representative of the Secretary-General on Internally Displaced Persons recommended that the Government develop a comprehensive policy addressing all aspects of internal displacement, in line with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement.

40. In addition, in line with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement, the Special Representative will continue to advocate for the " rights and guarantees " which should be accorded to every internally displaced child affected by armed conflict.

In that regard, it is crucial that the draft law on internally displaced persons, currently under review by Parliament, outline areas where the authorities should be providing basic services, in line with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement.

(a) Insofar as internally displaced persons in urban settings are often invisible and live among the urban poor, continue to work to identify them and their location, whether with host families or elsewhere, in line with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement;
(أ) على قدر ما يكون الأشخاص المشردون داخليا في المناطق الحضرية في كثر من الأحيان مختفيين عن الأعين ويعيشون فيما بين فقراء الحضر، ينبغي الاستمرار في العمل على تحديد هويتهم وتحديد أماكنهم سواء أكانوا مع أسر مضيفة أو في أي مكان آخر، تماشيا مع المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالتشرد الداخلي؛

(h) In line with the Guiding Principles on Foreign Debt and Human Rights, international financial institutions and other lenders should stop attaching policy conditions to loans and debt relief that may adversely affect the realization of human rights and/or undermine development in recipient countries;
(ح) تمشياً مع المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالديون الخارجية وحقوق الإنسان، ينبغي أن تتوقف المؤسسات المالية الدولية وغيرها من المقرضين عن إرفاق شروط سياساتية بالقروض وتخفيف أعباء الديون التي قد تؤثر سلباً على إعمال حقوق الإنسان و/أو تقوض التنمية في البلدان المستفيدة؛

The LEG provided feedback to the organizations in line with the guidelines for the supplements presented in chapter II.F above.
