With special reference to the proposed anti-terrorism law, the Special Rapporteur urges the Egyptian authorities to discontinue any use of administrative detention and to introduce a phase of transition during which each person currently held under this regime would be either tried or released, thereby securing Egypt's compliance with its international obligations.
ليس أمراً كبير الأهمية ومع الإشارة بصورة خاصة إلى قانون مكافحة الإرهاب المقترح يحث المقرر الخاص السلطات المصرية على وقف أي استعمال لممارسة الاعتقال الإداري وتطبيق مرحلة انتقالية يجري فيها إما محاكمة كل شخص معتقل في الوقت الحاضر بموجب هذا النظام أو إطلاق سراحه، وبذلك يتحقق امتثال مصر لالتزاماتها الدولية.
