During the conflict, the Office of the Personal Representative worked closely with the Government of Lebanon, relevant political parties and the international community to formulate a political framework to end hostilities and to shape the post-conflict environment in a manner that would sustain a cessation of hostilities and, ultimately, a permanent ceasefire.
