145- وأعربت بعض الوفود عن رأي بأنه ينبغي للجنة الفرعية القانونية أن تنظر في مدى ملاءمة واستصواب صياغة مشروع اتفاقية شاملة عالمية بشأن قانون الفضاء، باعتباره موضوعا/بندا منفردا للمناقشة.

Those delegations also noted that, under the proposed agenda item, the Subcommittee would only discuss the appropriateness and desirability of drafting a universal comprehensive convention and that the development of the convention should not reopen the debate on existing principles of international space law contained in the United Nations treaties on outer space.
كذلك لاحظت تلك الوفود أنه، في إطار بند جدول الأعمال المقترح، لن تناقش اللجنة الفرعية سوى مدى ملاءمة واستصواب صياغة مشروع اتفاقية شاملة عالمية، وأن صوغ تلك الاتفاقية لا ينبغي أن يعيد فتح باب النقاش حول مبادئ قانون الفضاء الدولي الحالية التي تحتوي عليها معاهدات الأمم المتحدة الخاصة بالفضاء الخارجي.

Those delegations also expressed the view that the Subcommittee, under the proposed sub-item, should only discuss the appropriateness and desirability of drafting a universal comprehensive convention and should not actually start drafting a convention and that the development of the convention should not reopen the debate on existing principles of international space law contained in the United Nations treaties on outer space.
ورأت هذه الوفود أيضا أنه ينبغي للجنة الفرعية، تحت البند الفرعي المقترح، أن تكتفي بمناقشة مدى ملاءمة واستصواب صوغ اتفاقية شاملة عالمية، وألا تشرع فعلا في صوغ اتفاقية، وأن صوغ الاتفاقية لا ينبغي أن يعيد فتح باب المناقشة حول مبادئ قانون الفضاء الدولي القائمة التي هي واردة في معاهدات الأمم المتحدة بشأن الفضاء الخارجي.

Some delegations expressed the view that the appropriateness and desirability of drafting a universal comprehensive convention on international space law should be considered by the Legal Subcommittee under a sub-item of the agenda item entitled " Status and application of the five United Nations treaties on outer space " , as proposed in a working paper submitted by China, Greece and the Russian Federation (A/AC.105/C.2/L.236).
132- وأعربت بعض الوفود عن رأي مفاده أن اللجنة الفرعية القانونية ينبغي أن تنظر في مدى ملاءمة واستصواب وضع اتفاقية شاملة عالمية النطاق بشأن قانون الفضاء الدولي، كبند فرعي من بند جدول الأعمال المعنون " حالة معاهدات الأمم المتحدة الخمس المتعلقة بالفضاء الخارجي وتطبيقها " ، كما هو مقترح في ورقة عمل مقدمة مـن الاتحـاد الروسي والصين واليونان (A/AC.105/C.2/L.236).
