12. Expenditure for the first six months of the biennium 2012 - 2013 amounted to USD 1.7 million, which covered the participation of representatives of eligible Parties at the May 2012 sessions, leaving a balance of income over expenditure of USD 3.9 million.

Expenditure incurred during the first six months of the biennium 2014 - 2015 amounted to USD 2.4 million, which covered the participation of Representatives of Eligible Parties in two sessions, leaving a balance of income over expenditure of USD 2.4 million, excluding the operating reserve of USD 0.5 million.
12- وخلال الأشهر الستة الأولى من فترة السنتين 2014-2015، بلغت النفقات 2.4 ملايين دولار، وهي تشمل تكاليف مشاركة ممثلي الأطراف المؤهلة في دورتين، وبذلك بلغ رصيد الإيرادات المتبقية بعد خصم النفقات 2.4 مليون دولار، دون حساب مبلغ 0.5 مليون دولار المخصَّص للاحتياطي التشغيلي.

To take note of the requirements for voluntary contributions to the Trust Fund for Participation of Representatives of Eligible Parties in the Sessions of the UNCCD Conference and the Trust Fund for Voluntary Financing of Activities under the UNCCD;

Pursuant to decision 16/CP.2,4 a small percentage of the fund was also used to support the participation of Representatives of Eligible Parties in intersessional meetings of the Bureau of the COP, and the participation of Bureau members in consultations or official meetings relating to the Convention process.

14- وبلغت النفقات خلال الأشهر الثمانية عشر الأولى من فترة السنتين 2010-2011 ما يعادل 11 مليون دولار غطت تكاليف مشاركة ممثلي الأطراف المؤهلة في سبع دورات، ونتيجة لذلك، بلغ رصيد الإيرادات المتبقية بعد خصم النفقات 3.6 مليون دولار، دون حساب مبلغ 215 814 دولاراً الموضوع جانباً كاحتياطي تشغيلي.

This balance, together with any further voluntary contributions to the trust fund, will be used to cover the participation of representatives of eligible Parties at the sessions of the ad hoc working groups held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 30 August to 5 September 2012 and to cover the participation of representatives of eligible Parties at COP 18/CMP 8, to be held in Doha, Qatar, at the end of the year.
