وفيما يخص الموارد الجينية البحرية، بيّنت بعض الوفود أن نظام الموارد الجينية تضبطه مبادئ وأحكام الاتفاقية وأيدت فكرة أن الموارد الجينية لقاع البحار الموجودة في مناطق خارج الولاية الوطنية هي تراث مشترك للبشرية.

(d) Sharing information on vessels that are engaged in bottom fishing operations in areas beyond national jurisdiction where the flag State responsible for such vessels cannot be determined;

(c) Submission by flag States to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations of a list of those vessels flying their flag authorized to conduct bottom fisheries in areas beyond national jurisdiction, and the measures they have adopted to give effect to the relevant paragraphs of resolution 61/105 and the present resolution;
(ج)قيام دول العلم بتقديم قائمة إلى منظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة تتضمن السفن المأذون لها بالاضطلاع بأنشطة الصيد في قاع البحار في مناطق خارج الولاية الوطنية من بين السفن التي ترفع أعلام تلك الدول، والتدابير التي اتخذتها لإنفاذ الفقرات ذات الصلة من القرار 61/105 وهذا القرار؛

In paragraph 122 (c) of resolution 64/72, the General Assembly called upon flag States to submit to the FAO a list of those vessels flying their flag authorized to conduct bottom fisheries in areas beyond national jurisdiction, and the measures they have adopted to give effect to the relevant paragraphs of resolutions 61/105 and 64/72.

177. In paragraph 122 (d) of resolution 64/72, the General Assembly called upon States and RFMO/As to share information on vessels that were engaged in bottom fishing operations in areas beyond national jurisdiction where the flag State responsible for the vessels could not be determined.
177 - في الفقرة 122 (د) من القرار 64/72 أهابت الجمعية العامة بالدول والمنظمات والترتيبات الإقليمية المعنية بإدارة مصائد الأسماك بأن تعمل على تبادل المعلومات عن السُفن التي تشارك في عمليات الصيد في قاع البحار في مناطق خارج الولاية الوطنية في الحالات التي لا يمكن فيها تحديد دولة العَلم المسؤولة عن تلك السُفن.
