In their communiqué, the heads of State proposed the strengthening of the presence of the United Nations system in Côte d'Ivoire, in particular in the areas of security, humanitarian assistance and human rights, as well as the deployment of civilian and military observers, who would help to supervise the implementation of the Linas-Marcoussis Agreement.

45. The integrated strategic framework, prepared by UNOCI and the United Nations country team, highlights the need for the United Nations system in Côte d'Ivoire to support the re-establishment of social services and address the root causes of the conflict, taking into account their impact on the ongoing peace process.
45 - ويسلط الإطار الاستراتيجي المتكامل، الذي أعدته عملية الأمم المتحدة وفريق الأمم المتحدة القطري، الضوء على ضرورة أن تقوم منظومة الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار بدعم إعادة بناء الخدمات الاجتماعية ومعالجة الأسباب الجذرية للنزاع، مع مراعاة تأثيرها على عملية السلام الجارية.

Upon enquiry, the Advisory Committee was informed that the United Nations system in Côte d'Ivoire coordinates its activities through the Strategic Coordination Group, which is chaired by the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Humanitarian Coordination, Recovery and Reconstruction and includes the heads of agencies, funds and programmes as well as UNOCI section chiefs.
5 - أُبلغت اللجنة الاستشارية، بناء على استفسار، أن منظومة الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار تنسّق أنشطتها عن طريق فريق التنسيق الاستراتيجي، الذي يرأسه نائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام المعني بتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية والإنعاش والتعمير، والذي يضم رؤساء الوكالات والصناديق والبرامج ورؤساء الأقسام التابعة لعملية الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار.

In order to ensure effective and integrated support for the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programme, it is also recommended that the United Nations system in Côte d'Ivoire set up an integrated implementation support cell, which would be co-located with the integrated command centre's disarmament, demobilization and reintegration cell in Yamoussoukro.
58 - ولأجل ضمان دعم فعال ومتكامل لبرنامج نـزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج، يُوصى أيضا بأن تقوم منظومة الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار بإنشاء خلية متكاملة لدعم تنفيذ نـزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج، بحيث تشارك خلية نـزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج التابعة لمركز القيادة المتكاملة موقعها في ياموسوكور.
