1. The privileges and immunities provided for in articles 14 to 17 of the present Agreement are granted in the interests of the good administration of justice and not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves.

Privileges and immunities provided for in articles 13 and 14 of the present Agreement are accorded to the representatives of States and intergovernmental organizations not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves, but in order to safeguard the independent exercise of their functions in connection with the work of the Assembly, its subsidiary organs and the Court.

٦ - لا تمنح ﻷعضاء المحكمة الامتيازات والحصانات والتسهيلات والحقوق الخاصة من أجل المنفعة الشخصية لﻷفراد أنفسهم، بل لضمان ممارستهم لوظائفهم المتعلقة بالمحكمة ممارسة مستقلة.

(d) Immunity from legal process as referred to in subparagraph (a) above is granted to representatives of Affiliate Members, as well as to the Chairpersons and members of the Strategic Group of the Organization and of the Committee on Tourism Ethics in the interests of the Organization and not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves.
(د) تمنح الحصانة ضد الإجراءات القانونية المشار إليها في الفقرة الفرعية (أ) أعلاه لممثلي الأعضاء المنتسبين، وكذلك لرئيسي وأعضاء كل من الفريق الاستراتيجي التابع للمنظمة واللجنة العالمية لآداب السياحة تحقيقا لمصالح المنظمة وليس من أجل المنفعة الشخصية للأفراد أنفسهم.

Waiver 1. Inasmuch as the privileges and immunities referred to in articles 13 to 16 are granted in the interests of the good administration of justice and not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves, the competent authority has the right and the duty to waive the immunity in any case where, in its opinion, the immunity would impede the course of justice and can be waived without prejudice to the administration of justice.
١ - حيث أن الامتيازات والحصانات المشار إليها في المواد ١٣ إلى ١٦ تُمنح من أجل حُسن إقامة العدالة وليس من أجل المنفعة الشخصية لﻷفراد أنفسهم، من حق السلطة المختصة ومن واجبها التنازل عن الحصانة في أي قضية ترى أن الحصانة ستعوق سير العدالة فيها وأن من الممكن التنازل عن الحصانة فيها دون المساس بإقامة العدالة.
