The World Health Organization has not submitted any notification concerning recommendations to place narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances under international control pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 as amended by the 1972 Protocol or the Convention on Psychotropic Substances of 1971.
ولم تُقدّم منظمة الصحة العالمية أي إشعار بشأن توصيات تتعلق بوضع مخدرات أو مؤثرات عقلية تحت المراقبة الدولية، عملا بالأحكام ذات الصلة من الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدرات لسنة 1961 بصيغتها المعدلة ببروتوكول سنة 1972 أو اتفاقية المؤثرات العقلية لسنة 1971.

In accordance with the provisions of article 3, paragraph 3 (iii), of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 as amended by the 1972 Protocol, the Commission will examine a recommendation by the World Health Organization to the effect that the substance oripavine should be included in Schedule I of the 1961 Convention as amended.

It is also the view of the Board that the payment of US$ 1.00 per year cannot be considered as `adequate remuneration'within the meaning of the expression in paragraph 6 of article 10 of the Convention on Narcotic Drugs, 1961, as amended by the 1972 Protocol, and in particular, when the General Assembly in 1967 and 1981 decided on payment to be made to members of the Board.
