2. As set out in paragraph 6 of part II of Annex B of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties is required to evaluate the continued need for disease vector control at its first meeting and at least every three years thereafter.

2. As set out in paragraph 6 of part II of Annex B of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties is required to evaluate the continued need for disease vector control at its first meeting and at least every three year thereafter.

Additionally, the Meeting made recommendations on the evaluation and reporting mechanisms relating to paragraphs 4 and 6 of part II of Annex B (i.e. processes, requirement and resources for generating quality advisories to the COP).
