Accepts the proposal of the Secretary-General, subject to the recommendations of the Advisory Committee, for the enlargement of the premises of the International Court of Justice, subject to further review in the context of the savings report called for in paragraph 7 of section II of the present resolution;

45. The draft resolution updated General Assembly resolution 52/125 and sought to provide guidance to the High Commissioner for Human Rights on how to proceed with a view to implementing the recommendations contained in paragraph 69 of section II of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action.

In paragraph 1 of section II of its resolution 55/222, the General Assembly reiterated its request to the Committee to consult with those bodies that had consistently utilized less than the applicable benchmark figure of their allocated conference resources for the past three sessions, with a view to making appropriate recommendations in order to achieve the optimum utilization of conference-servicing resources.

In paragraph 15 of section II of its resolution 55/222, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to consider improving and modernizing the conference facilities at the United Nations Office at Nairobi in order to accommodate adequately major meetings and conferences, and to report thereon to the Assembly at its fifty-sixth session, through the Committee.

39. Turning to paragraph 3 of section II of the resolution, she recalled that the Assembly had approved a provision of up to $1.5 million for a Peacebuilding Support Office and that, according to paragraph 5, the Assembly would revert to the consideration of the Office's level and staffing in the context of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009.
39 - وانتقلت إلى الفقرة 3 من الجزء ثانيا من القرار، فذكَّرت بأن الجمعية العامة وافقت على اعتماد يصل إلى 1.5 مليون دولار لإنشاء مكتب لدعم بناء السلام، وأنه وفقا للفقرة 5، فإن الجمعية ستعود إلى النظر في مستوى المكتب وملاك موظفيه في سيـاق الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة لفترة السنتين 2008-2009.

This chapter also reflects the reduced entitlements and benefits for staff on temporary appointments compared with staff on fixed-term and continuing appointments in accordance with paragraph 8 of section II of General Assembly resolution 63/250.
ويعكس هذا الفصل أيضا انخفاض الاستحقاقات والمزايا المخولة للموظفين العاملين بتعيينات مؤقتة مقارنة بالموظفين العاملين بتعيينات محددة المدة ومستمرة وفقا للفقرة 8 من الجزء ثانيا من قرار الجمعية العامة 63/250.

The new ground for termination " in the interest of the good administration of the Organization " for staff members holding continuing appointments, to apply also when the staff member is not in agreement, was reflected in accordance with paragraph 22 of section II of resolution 63/250 and consistent with the approved text of the amended Staff Regulations.

On agenda items 127, entitled “Financing of the United Nations Observer Mission Uganda-Rwanda”, and 130, entitled “Financing of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda”, the recommendation of the Fifth Committee is contained in paragraph 6 of part II of its report (A/49/687/Add.1).

29. Mr. Sach (Controller) said that the figure contained in paragraph 3 of part II of draft resolution III represented requirements for the first four months of 2006, whereas the figure of $16 million referred to by the representative of India represented requirements for a six-month period.
29 - السيد سيـج (المراقب المالي): قال إن المبلغ الوارد في الفقرة 3 من الجزء ثانيا من مشروع القرار الثالث يمثل المتطلبات لفترة الأشهـر الأربعة الأولى من عام 2006، بينما يمثل مبلغ الــ 16 مليون دولار الذي أشار إليه ممثل الهند المتطلبات لفترة ستـة أشهـر.

22. In paragraph 5 of part II of its resolution 51/218 E, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to seek assurances from Member States that amounts payable to beneficiaries for incidents referred to in the resolution should be not less than the amounts paid or reimbursed to Member States, so as to avoid unequal treatment of contingent troops by Member States.

2. In paragraph 3 of part II of resolution 64/239, the General Assembly welcomed the arrest of two further indictees, requested the Tribunal to proceed with their prosecutions from available resources, and requested the Secretary-General, in that respect, to report to the Assembly on the financial implications of those prosecutions at its next session.

81. Mr. Türk (Slovenia) speaking as Chairman of the Working Group of the Third Committee introducing the oral report of the Working Group of the Third Committee, said that from September 1994 to September 1997 the Working Group had considered questions relating to the implementation of the recommendations of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action set out in paragraphs 17 and 18 of part II of that document.
