Taking note of the reports of the Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories submitted to the General Assembly since 1968,
وإذ تحيط علماً بتقارير اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بالتحقيق في الممارسات الإسرائيلية التي تمس حقوق الإنسان للشعب الفلسطيني وغيره من السكان العرب في الأراضي المحتلة، المقدمة إلى الجمعية العامة منذ عام 1968،

The dehumanization of Palestinians and other Arabs in THE OCCUPIED TERRITORIES prevented the achievement of a just and lasting peace.

Most of the land earmarked for the construction of the new neighbourhood, which was approved by the Jerusalem Planning and Construction Commission, was reportedly confiscated from Arab residents of the area during the 1990s and now belonged to the Land Administration.
