Article 974 of the Civil Code, which states that:

(iii) Article 1384 of the Civil Code which allows a victim to sue the employer of an alleged tortfeasor.

The complainant's allegation that article 133 of the Civil Code providing for the transfer of administration of the marital assets to the wife in the circumstances specified in article 115, was unconstitutional had been rejected on the same grounds.
وقد رفضت المحكمة ولذات اﻷسباب زعم عدم الدستورية الذي دفع به المدعي فيما يتعلق بالمادة ١٣٣ من القانون المدني التي تنص على إسناد ادارة موجودات الزوجين الى الزوجة في الظروف المنصوص عليها في المادة ١١٥.

Similarly, Article 205 of the draft Code corrects a shortcoming of Article 197 of the Civil Code, which fails to specify how the civil registrar shall establish the birth certificate of a foundling.

This is aligned with Article 652 of the Civil Code that ascertains the assets and property of married spouses as a common property and liabilities arising from mortgages or loans against family assets becomes as well a common responsibility.
ويتسق ذلك مع المادة 652 من القانون المدني التي تؤكّد أن الأصول والممتلكات للزوجين تعتبر ملكية مشتركة وأن تصبح التبعات الناشئة عن الرهن أو القروض مقابل أصول الأسرة مسؤولية مشتركة أيضاً.

These limitations include article 1117 of the Civil Code, which affords men the right to prohibit their wives from engaging in work outside the home if they can prove that the work is incompatible with the family's interests.

16. A proposal has been submitted for amendment of article 81 of the Civil Code dealing with marriage with a view to ensuring the same minimum age for marriage for both men and women, so that upon reaching the age of 16 years they will have the same rights.

This is confirmed in article 1 of the Civil Code, which stipulates that: " The provisions of the law apply in all matters to which the said provisions refer explicitly or implicitly " .
وهذا ما أكدته المادة اﻷولى من القانون المدني التي نصت على أن " تسري النصوص التشريعية على جميع المسائل التي تستند اليها هذه النصوص في لفظها أو فحواها " .
