As to the Committee's view that what were described by the State party as " records " of the preliminary hearing were simply incomplete summaries, the State party acknowledged that the transcripts were disordered and incomplete and provided a full set of transcripts in Arabic for the Committee's consideration.
وفيما يتعلق بما رأته اللجنة من أن ما وصفته الدولة الطرف بأنه " سجلات " للجلسة التمهيدية هي مجرد موجزات غير كاملة، أقرت الدولة الطرف بأن المحاضر الحرفية كانت غير منظمة وغير كاملة وقدمت الدولة الطرف مجموعة كاملة من المحاضر الحرفية باللغة العربية لكي تنظر فيها اللجنة.

As to the Committee's view that what were described by the State party as " records " of the preliminary hearing were simply incomplete summaries, the State party acknowledged that the transcripts were disordered and incomplete and provides a full set of transcripts in Arabic for the Committee's consideration.
وفيما يتعلق بما ذهبت إليه اللجنة في رأيها بأن ما وصفته الدولة الطرف من " وثائق " للجلسة التمهيدية هي مجرد موجزات غير كاملة، أقرت الدولة الطرف بأن المحاضر الحرفية كانت غير منظمة وغير كاملة وتقدم الدولة الطرف مجموعة كاملة من المحاضر الحرفية باللغة العربية لكي تنظر فيها اللجنة.

Following the successful experience of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, other bodies should be invited to participate in the experiment of using unedited transcripts in place of verbatim records of their meetings.
وإنه، عقب نجاح تجربة لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية، ينبغي دعوة الهيئات اﻷخرى كي تشترك في تجربة استعمال النسخ غير المحررة بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية لاجتماعاتها.

172. The Committee agreed, on the basis of its evaluation on the use of unedited verbatim transcripts at its fortieth session, to continue the use of those transcripts in lieu of verbatim records.
٢٧١ - واتفقت اللجنة، بناء على تقييمها لاستخدام النصوص الكاملة غير المحررة في دورتها اﻷربعين، على أن تواصل استخدام تلك النصوص بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية. زاي - اﻷعمال المقبلة

74. Note was taken with appreciation of the positive results of the experiment carried out by the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space to use unedited transcripts instead of verbatim records.
٤٧ - وأحيط علما مع التقدير بالنتائج اﻹيجابية التي أسفرت عنها التجربة التي أجرتها لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية والمتمثلة في استخدام مستنسخات غير محررة بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية.

(b) Bodies for which summary records will be provided in lieu of verbatim records:
)ب( الهيئات التي توفر لها محاضر موجزة بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية:

33. In accordance with the agreement it reached at its session of 1995, and pursuant to its recommendation, which was endorsed by the General Assembly in paragraph 11 of its resolution 50/27 of 6 December 1995, the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space was provided with unedited transcripts of its session of 1996 in lieu of verbatim records.
٣٣ - ووفقا للاتفاق الذي توصلت إليه في دورتها لعام ٥٩٩١، وعملا بتوصيتها، التي أيدتها الجمعية العامة في الفقرة ١١ من القرار ٠٥/٧٢ المؤرخ ٦ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٥٩٩١، زودت لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية بنسخ غير محررة لدورتها لعام ٦٩٩١، بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية.

5. In the area of working methods, the Committee had also contributed to the Organization’s cost-saving efforts by utilizing verbatim unedited transcripts in lieu of verbatim records of the Committee and summary records of the Legal Subcommittee.
٥ - واستطرد قائلا إن اللجنة ساهمت كذلك، في ميدان أساليب العمل في الجهود التي تبذلها المنظمة لاقتصاد التكاليف عن طريق استخدامها للنصوص الكاملة غير المنقحة بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية للجنة والمحاضر الموجزة للجنة الفرعية القانونية.

20. The Committee had contributed to the cost-saving efforts of the organization by pioneering the use of unedited verbatim transcripts in lieu of verbatim records of the Committee and summary records of its Legal Subcommittee.
٢٠ - وقال إن اللجنة شاركت في الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق وفورات في التكلفة لصالح المنظمة عن طريق استخدام النصوص الحرفية الكاملة غير المنقحة بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية للجنة والمحاضر الموجزة للجنتها الفرعية القانونية.

180. On the basis of the discussion held in the Working Group of the Whole, the Committee agreed that, beginning with its thirty-ninth session, in 1996, it would be provided with unedited transcripts of its sessions in lieu of verbatim records.
١٨٠ - واستنادا الى المناقشات التي دارت في الفريق العامل الجامع، اتفقت اللجنة على أن يجري تزويدها، اعتبارا من دورتها التاسعة والثلاثين عام ١٩٩٦، بمحاضر غير منقحة لوقائع دوراتها بدلا من المحاضر الحرفية.

In this respect, I should like to once again draw the attention of the Conference to the fact that United Nations regulations do not permit the translation and distribution of statements delivered by delegations in plenary meetings as separate CD documents, since they are already part of the verbatim records.
وفي هذا الخصوص أود مرة أخرى أن أوجه انتباه المؤتمر إلى أن قواعد الأمم المتحدة لا تسمح بترجمة وتوزيع البيانات التي تدلي بها الوفود في جلسات عامة باعتبارها وثائق منفصلة لنزع السلاح؛ إذ أنها تشكل بالفعل جزءاً من المحاضر الحرفية.

During the discussion on the matter, the view was expressed that, while such transcripts were not an ideal solution, they could be issued and corrected more speedily than verbatim and summary records and appeared to be a satisfactory, cost-efficient measure.
وأثناء مناقشة الموضوع أعرب عن وجهة نظر مفادها أنه حتى وإن لم تكن هذه التسجيلات المدونة تشكل حلا مثاليا، فإنه يمكن إصدارها وتصويبها بسرعة أكبر من المحاضر الحرفية والموجزة، وأنها تبدو إجراء مرضيا وفعالا من حيث التكلفة.

5. Lastly, her delegation wished to see greater interaction between the Commission and the Committee, including the provision of verbatim records of statements in electronic format in the place of summary records.
