As I informed the Assembly yesterday, it is my intention to convene soon a meeting of the Open-ended Working Group on the Question of Equitable Representation on and Increase in the Membership of the Security Council and Other matters related to the Security Council, to elect its Vice-Chairmen.
كما أبلغت الجمعية العامة أمس، أنوي أن أعقد قريبا اجتماعا للفريق العامل المفتوح باب العضوية بشأن مسألة التمثيل العادل في مجلس اﻷمن وزيادة عدد أعضائه وغيرها من المسائل المتصلة بالمجلس وذلك لانتخاب نواب رئيس الفريق.

The present report is prepared and submitted in pursuance of resolution 48/26 of 3 December 1993, by which the General Assembly decided to establish an Open-ended Working Group to consider all aspects of the question of increase in the membership of the Security Council, and other matters related to the Security Council.
١ - هذا التقرير معد ومقدم عملا بالقرار ٤٨/٢٦ المؤرخ ٣ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، الذي قررت بموجبه الجمعية العامة انشاء فريق عامل مفتوح العضوية للنظر في جميع جوانب مسألة زيادة عضوية مجلس اﻷمن وغيرها من المسائل المتصلة بالمجلس.

We refer in particular to our statements made during the debates on agenda items 11 and 33 at the current session of the General Assembly, as well as in the Working Group of the Security Council on the Council's documentation and other procedural questions and in the Open-ended Working Group to consider all aspects of the question of increase of membership of the Security Council, and other matters related to the Security Council.
