It was considered whether, in line with article 18 of the Model Law on Arbitration and article 17 of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules 2010, paragraph 4 of the Notes ought to include fairness, equality and efficiency as core principles to be adhered to in the conduct of arbitrations.
