III. Further efforts to accelerate the implementation of priority 3 of the Almaty Programme of Action

However, given the needs highlighted under the priority area of the Almaty Programme of Action on infrastructure development and maintenance, more resources are required to close the infrastructure gap.
إلا أنه بالنظر إلى الاحتياجات الواردة في إطار مجال الأولوية من برنامج عمل ألماتي المتعلق بتنمية البنى الأساسية وصيانتها، يلزم توفير المزيد من الموارد لتغطية فجوة البنى الأساسية.

The interests and concerns of landlocked countries should be taken fully into account while establishing new transit transport systems, as stipulated in paragraph 8 of the Almaty Programme of Action.

In that connection, special attention should be given in the current negotiations on market access for agricultural and non-agricultural goods to products that were of special interest to landlocked developing countries, as envisaged in paragraph 33 of the Almaty Programme of Action.

18. The later years of the Almaty Programme of Action have revealed several structural weaknesses of landlocked developing countries, including extreme vulnerability to social and economic shocks.

The Minister for Road, Transport and Tourism of Mongolia, and head of the National Committee for Trade and Transport Facilitation, presented in greater detail the Mongolian efforts in the implementation of priority 3 of the Almaty Programme of Action that had been introduced by the Prime Minister.

1 - قررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 66/214، أن تعقد في عام 2014 مؤتمراً استعراضياً شاملاً من المؤتمرات التي تعقد كل عشر سنوات لاستعراض تنفيذ برنامج عمل ألماتي وفقاً للفقرة 49 من برنامج عمل ألماتي والفقرة 32 من الإعلان المتعلق باستعراض منتصف المدة.

The General Assembly, in its resolution 66/214, decided to hold a comprehensive 10-year review conference on the implementation of the Almaty Programme of Action in 2014, in accordance with paragraph 49 of the Almaty Programme of Action and paragraph 32 of Assembly resolution 63/2, on the outcome document of the midterm review of the Almaty Programme of Action, preceded by regional and global as well as thematic preparations.
77 - قررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 66/214 أن يعقد في عام 2014 مؤتمر استعراضي شامل من المؤتمرات التي تعقد كل عشر سنوات لاستعراض تنفيذ برنامج عمل ألماتي، وفقا للفقرة 49 من برنامج عمل ألماتي والفقرة 32 من القرار 63/2 بشأن الوثيقة الختامية لاستعراض منتصف المدة لبرنامج عمل ألماتي، تسبقه أعمال تحضيرية إقليمية وعالمية ومواضيعية.

11. The main objective of the Meeting was to review progress made, at national, subregional, regional and international levels in the implementation of priority 3 of the Almaty Programme of Action on international trade and trade facilitation, and deliberate on future actions needed to further strengthen the global partnership for establishing efficient transit transport systems.
11 - ويتمثل الهدف الرئيسي للاجتماع في استعراض التقدم المحرز، على الأصعدة الوطنية ودون الإقليمية والإقليمية والدولية في تنفيذ الأولوية 3 من برنامج عمل ألماتي بشأن التجارة الدولية وتيسير التجارة، ومناقشة الإجراءات التي ينبغي اتخاذها في المستقبل لزيادة تعزيز الشراكة العالمية لإقامة نظم فعالة للنقل العابر.
