Finally, we hope to consider appropriate mechanisms by which to give recognition to expressions of self-determination by the peoples of the Territories concerned, based on an informed, free and voluntary choice, with a view to removing those Territories from the list of Non-Self-Governing Territories.
وأخيرا، نرجو أن يجري النظر في اﻵليات المناسبة التي بموجبها يتم الاعتراف بإجراءات التعبير عن تقرير المصير من جانب شعوب اﻷقاليم المعنية، القائمة على خيار طوعي وحر ومدروس، بغية إزالة هـــذه اﻷقاليم من قائمة اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي.

To that end, there must be clear and genuine participation by the peoples and the Governments of the region. There must be encouragement by all organizations of the international community so as to ensure the transparency of economic agreements reached among the countries of the region as well as between regional and international financial institutions.
ولهذه الغاية، لا بد من وجود تعاون واضح وصادق من جانب شعوب وحكومات منطقة البحيرات الكبرى، ومن تشجيع المجتمع الدولي بجميع منظماته لضمان الشفافية في الاتفاقات الاقتصادية التي يتم التوصل إليها بين دول منطقة البحيرات الكبرى وكذلك مع الدول الأخرى والمؤسسات المالية الدولية.

It is important to point out that the countries of Central America have, by consensus, identified this endeavour as a means of deepening, consolidating and speeding up the regional integration process, thereby contributing to the achievement of sustainable development, a subject that has been widely discussed by the peoples and the Governments of Central America.
