7. The mandate to assist LDCs and contribute to the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action stems from paragraph 156 of the Istanbul Programme of Action and paragraph 18 (g) of the Doha Mandate.
7- تنبع ولاية الأونكتاد المتعلقة بمساعدة أقل البلدان نمواً والمساهمة في تنفيذ برنامج عمل اسطنبول من الفقرة 156() من برنامج عمل اسطنبول والفقرة 18(ز)() من ولاية الدوحة.

9. In accordance with paragraph 17 of the Doha Mandate and paragraphs 208 and 209 of the Accra Accord, the following three topics for single-year expert meetings were approved by the fifty-ninth executive session of the Trade and Development Board at its closing plenary meeting on 25 June 2014:

10. In accordance with paragraph 17 of the Doha Mandate and paragraphs 208 and 209 of the Accra Accord, the following three topics for single-year expert meetings were approved by the Trade and Development Board at its closing plenary meeting on 25 June 2014:

11. The role of UNCTAD in assisting LDCs and contributing to the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action is provided for in paragraph 156 of the Programme of Action and paragraph 17(h) of the Doha Mandate.

Paragraph 25 of the Doha Mandate (see TD/500/Add.1), which was adopted at UNCTAD XIII in April 2012, reads as follows:
تنص الفقرة 25 من ولاية الدوحة (انظر TD/500/Add.1) المعتمدة خلال الدورة الثالثة عشرة لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية المعقودة في نيسان/أبريل 2012 على ما يلي:

To that end, UNCTAD has been requested to develop quantifiable indicators with a view to providing " an operational methodology and policy guidance on how to mainstream productive capacities into national development policies and strategies in LDCs " (para. 65 (e) of the Doha Mandate).

15. Paragraph 18 (d) of the Doha Mandate of the thirteenth session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XIII) states that UNCTAD should " continue to monitor and assess the evolution of the international trading system and its trends from a development perspective " .

23. Similarly, paragraphs 18 and 18 (n) of the Doha Mandate state that " UNCTAD should continue to work within its mandate - through its three pillars, delivering meaningful results, utilizing available resources, while enhancing synergies and promoting complementarities with the work of other organizations.

Against this backdrop, and pursuant to paragraph 18(d) of the Doha Mandate of UNCTAD XIII, section I of the present report examines the stylized facts of today's globalization in relation to the current MDGs, particularly with the MDG 8 " Develop a global partnership for development " .
