كذلك سلمت الجمعية العامة بالحاجة إلى نشر المعرفة البحثية والتكنولوجيا والخبرة في ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية التي يمكن أن تفيد البشرية، وخاصة في ميادين الزراعة والصيدلة والرعاية الصحية.

That country had laid the groundwork for international inter-firm collaboration in the area of biotechnology by first identifying its own potential and defining clear objectives from the outset.
وقد وضع ذلك البلد أساس التعاون بين الشركات على الصعيد الدولي في ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية بأن بدأ بتعريف إمكاناته ثم تحديد أهداف واضحة منذ البداية.

The Conference recognises that while recent scientific and technological developments in the field of biotechnology, would increase the potential for cooperation among States Parties and render such activities critical for strengthening the Convention, they could also increase the potential for the misuse of both science and technology.
ويسلّم المؤتمر بأن التطورات العلمية والتكنولوجية الحديثة في ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية إذ ستزيد من إمكانات التعاون فيما بين الدول الأطراف وستجعل هذه الأنشطة ذات أهمية حاسمة لتعزيز الاتفاقية، ستزيد أيضاً من إمكانات إساءة استخدام العلم والتكنولوجيا.

In this regard, the States Parties to the Convention should reaffirm their commitment to the full and comprehensive implementation of Article X, especially in the light of recent scientific and technological developments in the field of biotechnology, which increase the potential for cooperation amongst States Parties.
وينبغي في هذا الصدد أن تعيد الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية تأكيد التزامها بتنفيذ المادة العاشرة تنفيذاً كاملاً وشاملاً، وبخاصة في ضوء التطورات العملية والتكنولوجية التي شهدها ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية مؤخراً، والتي تزيد إمكانيات التعاون فيما بين الدول الأطراف.

9. Australia contributes to numerous international academic, scientific and industrial databases that facilitate access to information in the field of biotechnology.
9- تساهم أستراليا في العديد من قواعد البيانات الأكاديمية والعلمية والصناعية الدولية التي تيسِّر الوصول إلى المعلومات في ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية.

Any significant future UNIDO activities in the field of biotechnology should be subject to further discussion by the governing bodies.
14- وأضافت تقول ان أي أنشطة مهمة تضطلع بها اليونيدو مستقبلا في ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية ينبغي أن تخضع للمزيد من المناقشة من جانب الهيئات التشريعية.

UNCTAD plans to analyse recent developments in the field of biotechnology applied to the energy sector and identify the opportunities that it may offer in terms of strengthening capacities to address/solve energy problems, improving environmental protection, increasing manufacturing and export prospects, and fostering the development of rural communities.
54- ويخطط الأونكتاد لتحليل التطورات الحديثة في ميدان التكنولوجيا الأحيائية المطبقة على قطاع الطاقة وتحديد الفرص التي قد تتيحها من حيث تعزيز القدرة على تناول/حل مشاكل الطاقة، وتحسين حماية البيئة، وزيادة احتمالات التصنيع والتصدير، ورعاية تنمية المجتمعات الريفية.
