In its resolution 50/109, the General Assembly invited the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization to submit to it, at its fifty-second session, a report on the outcome of the World Food Summit.
فقد دعت الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٥٠/١٠٩ المدير العام لمنظمة اﻷغذية والزراعة إلى أن يقدم لها في دورتها الثانية والخمسين تقريرا عن نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي لﻷغذية.

The review of the follow-up to the outcome of the World Food Summit or the coming discussions on the mid-term review of the United Nations Conference on Population and Development must confirm the approach of a coherent follow-up to all the major international conferences.
فاستعراض متابعة نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي لﻷغذية أو المناقشات القادمة عن استعراض نصف المدة لمؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة المعني بالسكان والتنمية يجب أن تؤكد على نهج المتابعة المترابطة لجميع المؤتمرات الدولية الرئيسية.

21. His delegation attached great importance to the implementation of the outcomes of the World Food Summit and its Plan of Action, particularly the objectives of reducing by half the number of impoverished and undernourished people.
21 - وقال إن وفده يولي أهمية كبرى لتنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للأغذية وخطة عمله، لا سيما الأهداف المتمثلة في الخفض بمقدار النصف من عدد مَن يعانون من الفقر ونقص الغذاء.

The Guidelines will serve to empower the poor and hungry to claim their rights and, in this context, are also a tool for achieving the outcomes of the World Food Summit and the Millennium Development Goals.

Agenda item 96 on sectoral policy questions and its sub-items would be discussed on 24 October, with the exception of item 96 (c) on food and sustainable agricultural development, which would be considered on the afternoon of 30 October so that the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) could be present to report on the outcome of the World Food Summit.
وإن البند ٩٦ من جدول اﻷعمال المعني بمسائل السياسات القطاعية وبنوده الفرعية سيناقش في ٢٤ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر، باستثناء البند ٩٦ )ج( المعني باﻷغذية والتنمية الزراعية المستدامة الذي سينظر فيه بعد ظهر يوم ٣٠ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر حتى يتسنى للمدير العام لمنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة لﻷغذية والزراعة الحضور لتقديم تقرير عن نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي لﻷغذية.

In the same resolution, the General Assembly reiterated its invitation to the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to submit to the Assembly at its fifty-second session, through the Council, a report on the outcome of the World Food Summit, including actions to be taken to follow up the outcome of the Summit at all appropriate levels (see also Assembly resolution 50/109).
وفي القرار نفسه كررت الجمعية العامة تأكيد دعوتها إلى المدير العام لمنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة لﻷغذية والزراعة إلى أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، عن طريق المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، تقريرا عن نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي لﻷغذية بما في ذلك اﻹجراءات التي ستتخذ لمتابعة نتائج مؤتمر القمة على جميع الصعد المناسبة )انظر أيضا قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٠/١٠٩(.

His report to the General Assembly reviewed the outcomes of the World Food Summit: five years later. The Special Rapporteur was encouraged by the small but path-breaking decision in the Declaration to establish a set of voluntary guidelines on the right to food.
6- وقد استعرض المقرر الخاص في تقريره المقدم إلى الجمعية العامة نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للأغذية: بعد خمس سنوات، حيث شجّعه ما تضمنه الإعلان الصادر عن المؤتمر من قرار بسيط ولكن يمثل فتحاً جديداً، قرار وضع مجموعة من المبادئ التوجيهية الطوعية بشأن الحق في الغذاء.

Mr. Harcharik stressed that the first session of the CRIC was both timely and opportune from the standpoint of reviewing concrete actions taken and assessing actual progress made in the implementation of the UNCCD, especially in the light of the outcomes of the World Food Summit: five years later, and the WSSD.
وأكد السيد هارتشايك على أن الدورة الأولى للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية تأتي في الوقت المناسب وتمثل فرصة مواتية من زاوية استعراض التدابير الملموسة المتخذة وتقييم التقدم الفعلي الذي تحقق في تنفيذ الاتفاقية، لا سيما في ضوء نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للأغذية: بعد خمس سنوات، ومؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة.

It also reiterated (resolution 2002/25, para. 9) the request to the Special Rapporteur on the right to food to contribute effectively to the medium-term review in June 2002 of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Food Summit (recommendation 3 (e)).
وكررت أيضا طلبها (القرار 2002/25، الفقرة 9) إلى المقرر الخاص المعني بالحق في الغذاء بأن يُسهم بفاعلية في استعراض منتصف المدة الذي يجري في حزيران/يونيه 2002 لتنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للأغذية (التوصية 3 (هـ)).
