(b) payments due under contracts, agreements or obligations that arose prior to the date on which those accounts became subject to the provisions of paragraph 1 above;

The United States will permit the addition to the accounts frozen of interest or other earnings due on those accounts or payments due under contracts, agreements or obligations that arose prior to the date on which those accounts became subject to the provisions of resolution 1844 (2008); any such interest, other earnings and payments will continue to be subject to the provisions of the resolution and will be frozen.
وسوف تسمح الولايات المتحدة بأن تُضاف إلى الحسابات المجمدة الفوائد أو الأرباح الأخرى المستحقة على تلك الحسابات أو المدفوعات المستحقة بموجب عقود أو اتفاقات أو التزامات تكون قد نشأت في وقت سابق على التاريخ الذي أصبحت فيه تلك الحسابات خاضعة لأحكام القرار 1844 (2008)، شريطة أن تظل هذه الفوائد والأرباح والمدفوعات الأخرى خاضعة لهذه الأحكام وتحت طائلة التجميد.
