وأود أن أبلغكم أن لجنة المؤتمرات قد تلقت طلبا من اللجنة التحضيرية للدورة الاستثنائية للجمعية العامة المعنية بتنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية وباتخاذ مبادرات إضافية، وذلك للاجتماع في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة الرابعة والخمسين للجمعية العامة.

19. The Committee had been pleased with the reduction in requests for exceptions to section I. paragraph 7, of General Assembly resolution 40/243, and recommended that the General Assembly should explicitly authorize four bodies to meet in New York during the main part of the fifty-eighth session.
19 - وأعربت اللجنة عن سرورها إزاء انخفاض المطالبات بالاستثناء من حكم الفقرة 7 من الفرع الأول من قرار الجمعية العامة 40/243، وأوصت بأن تقوم الجمعية العامة صراحة بالإذن لأربع هيئات بأن تجتمع في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة الثامنة والخمسين.

The General Assembly decided to authorize the United Nations Forum on Forests and the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme and of the United Nations Population Fund to hold one meeting each in New York during the main part of the sixty-fourth session of the General Assembly.
قررت الجمعية العامة أن تأذن لكل من منتدى الأمم المتحدة المعني بالغابات والمجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي وصندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان بعقد جلسة في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من دورة الجمعية العامة الرابعة والستين.

As indicated in document A/54/313/Add.1, the Committee on Conferences has recommended that the General Assembly authorize the Preparatory Committee for the special session of the General Assembly on the implementation of the outcome of the World Summit for Social Development and further initiatives to meet in New York during the main part of the fifty-fourth session of the General Assembly.
وكما يرد في الوثيقة A/54/313/Add.1، توصي لجنة المؤتمرات الجمعية العامة بأن تأذن للجنة التحضيرية للدورة الاستثنائية للجمعية العامة المعنية بتنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية وباتخاذ مبادرات إضافية بالاجتماع في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة الرابعة والخمسين للجمعية العامة.

7. The Committee had examined requests for exceptions to section I, paragraph 7, of General Assembly resolution 40/243 and had recommended to the General Assembly that it should explicitly authorize seven bodies to meet in New York during the main part of its fifty-seventh session.

55. The Committee recommended that the General Assembly explicitly authorize the following bodies to meet in New York during the main part of its fifty-eighth session, on the understanding that all such meetings would be allocated conference services on an as-available basis, from within existing resources, in such a way that the work of the General Assembly and its Main Committees would not be impeded:
55 - أوصت اللجنة أن تأذن الجمعية العامة صراحة باجتماع الهيئات التالية في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من دورتها الثامنة والخمسين مع الفهم بأن هذه الاجتماعات ستمنح لها خدمات المؤتمرات على أساس توفرها من جملة الموارد المتاحة بطريقة لا يتأثر معها عمل الجمعية العامة أو لجانها الرئيسية:

11. The Committee on Conferences recommended that the General Assembly explicitly authorize the following bodies to meet in New York during the main part of its sixty-third session, on the understanding that all such meetings would be allocated conference services on an " as available " basis, in such a way that the work of the Assembly and its Main Committees would not be impeded:
11 - أوصت لجنة المؤتمرات بأن تأذن الجمعية العامة صراحة باجتماع الهيئات التالية في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من دورتها الثالثة والستين، علماً بأن هذه الاجتماعات ستُمنح لها خدمات المؤتمرات على أساس توفرها من جملة الموارد المتاحة بطريقة لا يتأثر معها عمل الجمعية العامة أو لجانها الرئيسية:

Authorization is thus sought for the United Nations Appeals Tribunal to hold one meeting in New York during the main part of the sixty-fifth session of the General Assembly, on the strict understanding that the meeting will have to be accommodated when facilities and services can be made available without adversely affecting the activities of the General Assembly and its Main Committees.
ولهذا يطلب الإذن لمحكمة الأمم المتحدة للاستئناف بأن تعقد اجتماعا واحدا في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي للدورة الخامسة والستين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، على أن يكون مفهوما تماما أن هذا الاجتماع سيعقد عندما تكون المرافق والخدمات متاحة دونما أن يكون هناك تأثير سلبي على أنشطة الجمعية العامة ولجانها الرئيسية.

The Committee had recommended to the General Assembly that it should explicitly authorize five subsidiary organs, as indicated in documents A/52/340/Add.2 and A/53/298, to meet in New York during the main part of the fifty-third session of the General Assembly on the understanding that meetings would have to be accommodated as facilities and services became available so that the activities of the Assembly itself would not be adversely affected.
وأوصت اللجنة، حسبما ورد في الوثيقتين A/52/340/Add.2 و A/53/298، بأن تأذن الجمعية العامة صراحة لخمسة أجهزة فرعية بالاجتماع في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة الثالثة والخمسين للجمعية العامة على أن يكون مفهوما أنه سيتاح لهذه اﻷجهزة أن تجتمع حينما تتوفر المرافق والخدمات لكي لا تضار أنشطة الجمعية العامة نفسها.

The General Assembly adopted the recommendation of the Committee on Conferences contained in a letter from the Chairman of the Committee (A/53/298/Add.2) to authorize the Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories to meet in New York during the main part of the fifty-third session of the General Assembly.
اعتمدت الجمعية العامة توصية لجنة المؤتمرات الواردة في رسالة من رئيس اللجنة (A/53/298/Add.2) باﻹذن للجنة الخاصة المعنية بالتحقيق في الممارسات الاسرائيلية التي تمس حقوق اﻹنسان للشعب الفلسطيني وغيره من السكان العرب في اﻷراضي المحتلة، بالاجتماع في نيويورك أثناء الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة الثالثة والخمسين للجمعية العامة.
