The objective of this Protocol is to establish an international preventive visiting mechanism to examine the treatment of persons deprived of their liberty, with a view to recommending means for strengthening, if necessary, the protection of such persons from torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
1- الهدف من هذا البروتوكول هو إنشاء آلية دولية للزيارات الوقائية للوقوف على المعاملة التي يتعرض لها الأشخاص المحرومون من حريتهم، بهدف التوصية بوسائل يمكن بها، عند الاقتضاء، تعزيز حماية هؤلاء الأشخاص من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

1. The objective of this Protocol is to achieve an environmentally sound response to climate change through effective implementation of the Convention, with a view to achieving its ultimate objective as provided in its Article 2, by:
1- الهدف من هذا البروتوكول هو تحقيق استجابة سليمة بيئياً لتغير المناخ بتنفيذ الاتفاقية على نحو فعال، من أجل تحقيق هدفها النهائي كما تنص عليه المادة 2، وذلك بالقيام بما يلي:

1- يتعيّن على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ تدابير لضمان قيامها بتوفير أو تعزيز برامج اعلامية لزيادة الوعي العام بأن السلوك المبيّن في المادة 6 من هذا البروتوكول هو نشاط اجرامي كثيرا ما ترتكبه جماعات اجرامية منظمة بهدف الربح، وأنه يسبِّب مخاطر شديدة للمهاجرين المعنيين.

The purpose of this Protocol is to promote and facilitate cooperation among States Parties to prevent, investigate and prosecute trafficking in persons for the purpose of forced labour, prostitution or other sexual exploitation, giving particular attention to the protection of women and children, who are so often the victims of organized crime.
القصد من هذا البروتوكول هو تعزيز وتيسير التعاون بين الدول اﻷطراف لمنع الاتجار باﻷشخاص لغرض السخرة أو البغاء ، أو غيره من أشكال الاستغلال الجنسي ، والتحري عن هذا الاتجار وملاحقته قانونيا ، مع ايلاء اهتمام خاص لحماية النساء واﻷطفال الذين كثيرا ما يكونون ضحايا للجريمة المنظمة .

With a view to combating the illegal activities carried out by criminal organizations in the areas of the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in firearms, ammunition and other related materials, as well as their use for the purpose of facilitating their unlawful enterprises, the purpose of this Protocol is:
٢ - بهدف مكافحة اﻷنشطة غير القانونية التي تقوم بها المنظمات الاجرامية في ميادين صنع اﻷسلحة النارية والذخيرة وسائر المعدات ذات الصلة والاتجار بها بصورة غير مشروعة ، وكذلك استخدامها بغرض تيسير مشروعاتها غير القانونية ، الغرض من هذا البروتوكول هو :
