1. The Commission shall consist of 21 members who shall be experts in the field of geology, geophysics or hydrography, elected by States Parties to this Convention from among their nationals, having due regard to the need to ensure equitable geographical representation, who shall serve in their personal capacities.
١ - تتألف اللجنة من ٢١ عضوا يكونون خبراء في ميدان الجيولوجيا أو الطبيعيات اﻷرضية أو المساحة البحرية، تنتخبهم الدول اﻷطراف في هذه الاتفاقية من بين رعاياها، مولية الاعتبار الواجب لضرورة ضمان التمثيل الجغرافي العادل، على أن يؤدوا مهامهم بصفاتهم الشخصية.

2. States Parties shall take appropriate measures consistent with their national law to protect the confidentiality of any information which they receive in confidence by virtue of the provisions of this Convention from another State Party or through participation in an activity carried out for the implementation of this Convention.
2 - تتخذ الدول الأطراف التدابير المناسبة بما يتفق مع قانونها الوطني لحماية سرية أي معلومات تحصل عليها سرا بموجب أحكام هذه الاتفاقية من دولة طرف أخرى، أو من خلال المشاركة في أي أنشطة يضطلع بها لتطبيق هذه الاتفاقية.

2. States Parties shall take appropriate measures consistent with their national law to protect the confidentiality of any information which they receive in confidence by virtue of the provisions of this Convention from another State Party or through participation in an activity carried out for the implementation of this Convention.
2 - تتخذ الدول الأطراف التدابير المناسبة بما يتفق مع قانونها الوطني لحماية سرية أي معلومات تحصل عليها سرا بموجب أحكام هذه الاتفاقية من دولة طرف أخرى، أو من خلال المشاركة في أي أنشطة يضطلع بها لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية.

Recalling its decision to delete the words " subject to article 25 of this Convention " from draft article 2 of the annex (see para. 147), the Working Group agreed that those words could also be deleted from draft article 7 of the annex.
165- واستذكر الفريق العامل قراره حذف عبارة " رهنا بالمادة 25 من هذه الاتفاقية " من مشروع المادة 2 من المرفق (أنظر، الفقرة 147)، ومن ثم اتفق على أنه يمكن أيضا حذف تلك العبارة من مشروع المادة 7 من المرفق.

2 - ترتبط الفعالية العامة لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية من جانب البلدان النامية الأطراف بالتنفيذ الفعال لهذه المادة.

1. States Parties shall cooperate in carrying out a programme of systematic monitoring of the implementation of the measures provided for by this Convention to combat organized crime.
١ - يتعين على الدول اﻷطراف أن تتعاون على الاضطلاع ببرنامج رصد منهجي لتنفيذ ما تنص عليه هذه الاتفاقية من تدابير لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة .
