Accordingly, in paragraph 8 of the resolution, the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit to the Assembly at its sixty-eighth session a report on the implementation of the resolution, seeking the views of Member States and providing lessons learned on human security experiences.

4. The Secretary-General was requested by the General Assembly to provide the Working Group with the necessary services and to seek the views of Member States on the issue of the new mechanism or the extension of mandates and improvement of the functioning of existing mechanisms, and to bring those views to the attention of both the Working Group and the Assembly.

1. In its resolution 9/8, the Human Rights Council requested the Secretary-General to report annually to the Council on measures taken to implement the resolution and on obstacles to its implementation, including recommendations for further improving the effectiveness of harmonizing and reforming the treaty body system, and to seek the views of States and other stakeholders in this regard.
1- طلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان في قراره 9/8 إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إليه تقريراً سنوياً عن التدابير المتخذة لتنفيذ القرار والعوائق التي تحول دون تنفيذه، بما في ذلك تقديم توصيات لزيادة تحسين فعالية نظام هيئات المعاهدات وتنسيقه وإصلاحه وأن يلتمس آراء الدول والجهات الأخرى صاحبة المصلحة في هذا الصدد.

4. Further, the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to implement the relevant recommendations contained in the report and to seek the views of Member States on the report and, in particular, on the recommendation concerning the convening of an international conference on the illicit arms trade in all its aspects, in time for consideration by the Assembly at its fifty-third session.
٤ - كذلك طلبت الجمعية إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقوم بتنفيذ التوصيات ذات الصلة الواردة في التقرير وأن يلتمس آراء الدول اﻷعضاء بشأن التقرير، وعلى وجه الخصوص آرائها بشأن التوصية المتعلقة بعقد مؤتمر دولي معني بالاتجار غير المشروع باﻷسلحة من جميع جوانبه، وذلك في وقت يتيح النظر فيها من جانب الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثالثة والخمسين.

The Secretary-General was requested to submit to the General Assembly at its sixty-eighth session a report on the implementation of the resolution, seeking the views of Member States in that regard for inclusion in the report, and on the lessons learned on the human security experiences at the international, regional and national levels.
وطُلب من الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة والستين عن تنفيذ ذلك القرار، وأن يلتمس آراء الدول الأعضاء في هذا الصدد لإدراجها في التقرير، ويبلغ عن الدروس المستفادة من التجارب المتعلقة بالأمن البشري على الصعد الدولي والإقليمي والوطني.
