One measure - the Accident Compensation Act 1982 - has been revised and replaced by the Accident rehabilitation and compensation Insurance Act 1992 and later the Accident Insurance Act 1998.
فقانون التعويض عن الحوادث لعام 1982 نقح واستعيض عنه بقانون التأمين من الحوادث وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض لعام 1992، وحل محله فيما بعد قانون التأمين ضد الحوادث لعام 1998.

Victims of sexual abuse may also lodge a claim for cover under the Accident rehabilitation and compensation Insurance Act 1992 or the Accident Insurance Act 1998 and gain access to counselling and other entitlements, such as the independence allowance.

132. At the 8th meeting, on 18 November 1994, the observer for Egypt submitted a compromise text entitled " Assistance, rehabilitation and compensation " which read as follows:
٢٣١- وفي الجلسة الثامنة، المعقودة في ٨١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ٤٩٩١، قدم المراقب عن مصر نصا توفيقيا عنوانه " المساعدة وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض " كما يلي:

(a) The Accident rehabilitation and compensation Insurance Act 1992;
(أ) قانون التأمين من الحوادث وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض لعام 1992؛

The State party should continue its efforts to combat trafficking in persons, inter alia, by strengthening its preventive measures, increasing victim identification and systematically and vigorously investigating allegations of trafficking in persons, prosecuting and punishing those responsible and providing effective remedies to victims, including protection, rehabilitation and compensation.
ينبغي أن تواصل الدولة الطرف جهودها الرامية إلى مكافحة الاتجار بالبشر بطرق منها تعزيز تدابيرها الوقائية وزيادة تحديد الضحايا والتحقيق في ادعاءات الاتجار بالبشر بصورة منهجية وصارمة، وملاحقة المذنبين ومعاقبتهم وتوفير سبل انتصاف فعالة للضحايا، بما في ذلك الحماية وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض.

(c) Carry out prompt investigation, prosecution and adequate punishment of perpetrators and provide protection, free legal aid, rehabilitation and compensation for victims of forced labour and trafficking;
(ج) التحقيق فوراً في جميع حالات العمل القسري والاتجار بالبشر وملاحقة الجناة ومعاقبتهم على النحو المناسب، وتقديم الحماية والمساعدة القانونية المجانية وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض للضحايا؛

Regulations set out the prescribed maximum amounts for costs and expenses on review. (the Injury Prevention, rehabilitation and compensation (Review Costs and Appeals) Regulations 2002) In summary, costs can be awarded for case preparation, reports, and other expenses incurred, including transport.
وتحدد اللوائح المبالغ القصوى المنصوص عليها للتكاليف والنفقات المتعلقة بالمراجعة. (لوائح عام 2002 لمنع الإصابات وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض (تكاليف المراجعة والطعون) بإيجاز، يمكن منح التكاليف لإعداد القضايا والتقارير وغير ذلك من النفقات المتكبدة، بما فيها النقل.

(f) Ensure that investigations by an independent body into gross and systematic human rights violations are conducted in an impartial and credible manner, without delay, with a view to establishing the facts and providing effective remedies, including reparations, rehabilitation and compensation.

Appropriate remedies include a fair hearing, access to legal counsel, legal aid, return, restitution, resettlement, rehabilitation and compensation, and should comply, as applicable, with the Basic Principles and Guidelines on the Right to Remedy and Reparation for Victims of Gross Violations of International Human Rights Law and Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law.

The Accident Insurance Act 1998, as well as the previous Accident rehabilitation and compensation Insurance Act 1992, provides benefits to the survivors of a person who died as the result of an accident or other event covered by the Act, including a funeral grant, lump sum payment for a survivor's grant, weekly compensation payable to a spouse and an extra weekly payment payable to each child.

The Accident rehabilitation and compensation Insurance Act 1992 and the Accident Insurance Act 1998 ensured that the accident compensation scheme continued to provide social rehabilitation assistance, vocational rehabilitation generally for up to 12 months, a non-taxable weekly allowance (the Independence Allowance), and compensation for loss of earnings.
وكفل قانون التأمين من الحوادث وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض لعام 1992 وقانون التأمين من الحوادث لعام 1998 أن يستمر مخطط التعويض عن الحوادث في توفير المساعدة الاجتماعية وإعادة التأهيل، وكذلك إعادة التأهيل المهني عموماً طوال 12 شهراً، وتقديم منحة أسبوعية معفية من الضرائب (منحة الاعتماد على الذات)، وتعويض عن فقد الكسب.

" (c) Perpetrators of disappearances shall not benefit from such laws if the State has not fulfilled its obligations to investigate the relevant circumstances surrounding disappearances, identify and detain the perpetrators, and ensure the satisfaction of the right to justice, truth, information, redress, reparation, rehabilitation and compensation to the victims.
" (ج) لا يجوز لمرتكبي حالات الاختفاء الاستفادة من هذه القوانين إذا لم تكن قد أوفت الدولة بالتزاماتها بالتحقيق في الظروف ذات الصلة المحيطة بحالات الاختفاء والتعرف على مرتكبيها وإلقاء القبض عليهم، وضمان تحقيق الحق في العدالة، والحقيقة، والمعلومات، ورد الحق، والجبر، وإعادة التأهيل والتعويض لصالح الضحايا.

Moreover, paragraph 8 (c) of the general comment specifies that " [p]erpetrators of disappearances shall not benefit from such laws if the State has not fulfilled its obligations to investigate the relevant circumstances surrounding disappearances, identify and detain the perpetrators, and ensure the satisfaction of the right to justice, truth, information, redress, reparation, rehabilitation and compensation to the victims " .
