وتوصي أيضا بإجراء تحقيقات بصورة ملائمة في حالات العنف المنزلي، وسوء المعاملة، والتعدي الجنسيّ على الأطفال وذلك في إطار إجراءات قضائية ملائمة للأطفال، وفرض عقوبات على مرتكبي تلك الأفعال، وإعلان القرارات الصادرة في هذه القضايا على أن يولى الاعتبار الواجب لحماية حرمة الحياة الخاصة للطفل.
