With regard to corruption offences, including illicit enrichment and transnational bribery, Honduras is currently in the process of approving a new Criminal Code, which covers all the offences provided for in both the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Inter-American Convention against Corruption.

12. Reiterate our profound concern about the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons in all its aspects and renew the political decision to prevent, combat and eliminate this trade in accordance with the programme of action of the United Nations Conference on the subject and the Inter-American Convention against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Material.
12 - نكرر الإعراب عن بالغ قلقنا إزاء الاتجار غير المشروع بالأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة بجميع جوانبه، ونجدد التزامنا السياسي بمنع هذا الاتجار ومكافحته وإزالته وفقا لبرنامج عمل مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة ذي الصلة واتفاقية البلدان الأمريكية لمكافحة إنتاج الأسلحة النارية والاتجار غير المشروع بها.

In May, at the request of the Guatemalan Government, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism of the Organization of American States had run a workshop on the formulation of legislation to implement international anti-terrorism instruments and the Inter-American Convention against Terrorism.

58- واعتمدت منظمة الدول الأمريكية صكين رئيسيين بشأن الإرهاب: اتفاقية منع الأفعال الإرهابية التي تأخذ شكل جرائم ضد الأشخاص والابتزاز المتصل بها، التي لها خطورة دولية، والمعاقبة عليها؛ واتفاقية البلدان الأمريكية لمكافحة الإرهاب.
