٨٣٤ - وردا على سؤال عما اذا كان القانون يجيز الاجهاض، واذا كان اﻷمر كذلك ففي أية ظروف، أوضحت الممثلة ان قانون العقوبات يحظر الاجهاض، وان من ينتهكونه يغرمون ٠٠٠ ٠١ وون )٢١ دولارا أمريكيا( أو يسجنون لمدة أقصاها سنة واحدة؛ الا أن قانون صحة اﻷم والطفل يجيز الاجهاض في حالات استثنائية.
