وتعرب مصر عن أسفها لعدم نجاح الجهود الرامية إلى توسيع نطاق سجل اﻷمم المتحدة لتحقيق النتائج المرجوة، حيث ما زال السجل يقتصر على اﻹبلاغ سنوياً عن نقل ٧ أنواع من اﻷسلحة التقليدية، ولا يزال يتجاهل بقية أنواع اﻷسلحة التقليدية باﻹضافة إلى أسلحة التدمير الشامل والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة ذات التطبيقات العسكرية.
