٨٣ - ودعت اللجنة المعنية بمصادر الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة وتسخير الطاقة ﻷغراض التنمية، في دورتها الثانية، الدول اﻷعضاء والكيانات داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة إلى النظر في الدعوة إلى عقد مؤتمر لﻷمم المتحدة معني بالطاقة للقرن الحادي والعشرين في عام ٢٠٠١ لتعبئة الرأي العام العالمي من أجل دعم اﻹجراءات المتخذة على مختلف المستويات بشأن الطاقة والمتصلة بالتنمية المستدامة.

3. Furthermore, the report reviews ethics-related activities undertaken by various departments, offices and entities within the Secretariat, as requested by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (see A/60/7/Add.13 and Corr.1-2 and A/62/7/Add.14).
