We are an active participant in the United Nations Forum on Forests, the Commission on Science and Technology for Development, the Statistical Commission, and the Commission on Sustainable Development.

(ii) Improve the collaboration on science and technology for development existing within the United Nations system, particularly with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the Commission on Science and Technology for Development and the regional commissions and with other appropriate stakeholders, including the World Bank;

It also encourages a pro-active relation between UNCTAD and the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD), taking into account the role that CSTD can play in shedding expert light on the issue of technology transfer and know-how.
