26. The NEPAD Agency, in collaboration with the African Union Commission and the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment, initiated a process to review the implementation of the action plan with a view to ensuring that it adequately reflected emerging issues and drew on lessons learned from the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development process.

40. Following the adoption of the outcome document of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, the NEPAD Agency, in collaboration with the African Union Commission and the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment, initiated a process to review the implementation of the action plan with a view to ensuring that it adequately reflected emerging issues identified at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.
40 - وعقب اعتماد الوثيقة الختامية لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة، فإن الوكالة التابعة للشراكة الجديدة، بالتعاون مع مفوضية الاتحاد الأفريقي والمؤتمر الوزاري الأفريقي المعني بالبيئة، قد شرعت في عملية لاستعراض تنفيذ خطة العمل بهدف التأكد من أنها تعبّر بصورة مناسبة عن المسائل الناشئة المحددة في مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة.

37. From April to June 2005, UNEP, in partnership with the NEPAD secretariat, the African regional economic communities and the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment, will organize five intergovernmental consultative meetings to review the first draft of the environmental regional action plans of NEPAD.

38. As of May 2005, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), in partnership with the NEPAD secretariat, the African regional economic communities and the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment, organized in Algiers, Abuja, Djibouti City, Libreville and Gaborone, a subregional consultative meeting to review the draft reports of subregional environmental action plans.
38 - وحتى أيار/مايو 2005، كان برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة، بالشراكة مع أمانة الشراكة الجديدة من أجل تنمية أفريقيا والمجموعات الاقتصادية الإقليمية الأفريقية والمؤتمر الوزاري الأفريقي المعني بالبيئة، قد نظم خمسة اجتماعات استشارية دون إقليمية في الجزائر وأبوجا ومدينة جيبوتي وليبرفيل وغابورون، تهدف إلى استعراض مشاريع تقارير خطط العمل دون الإقليمية في مجال البيئة.

The Council/Forum accordingly invited " the Executive Director to work closely with the African Union Commission, the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment, the African Ministers' Council on Water, the Forum for African Ministers on Energy, the African Energy Commission, regional economic communities and the New Partnership for Africa's Development secretariat in their efforts to implement policy-oriented assessments " .
