Recalling the World Health Assembly resolution WHA30.32 and the Executive Board resolution EB61.R37 and decision EB63(10) on the Principles of Medical Ethics relevant to the role of health personnel, particularly physicians, in the protection of prisoners and Detainees against Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment;
إذ تُذكﱢر بالقرارين ج ص ع ٣٠ - ٣٢ و م ت ٦١ ق ٣٧ والمقرر اﻹجرائي م ت ٦٣ )١٠( بشأن قواعد آداب مهنة الطب ذات الصلة بدور العاملين في الحقل الصحي، ولاسيما اﻷطباء، في حماية السجناء والمحتجزين من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة،

84. Special attention is being given to ensuring respect for and implementation of the Principles of Medical Ethics relevant to the role of health personnel, particularly physicians, in the protection of prisoners and Detainees against Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment contained in General Assembly resolution 37/194 of 18 December 1982.
٨٤ - ويجري إيلاء اهتمام خاص لضمان احترام وتنفيذ مبادئ آداب مهنة الطب المتعلقة بدور الموظفين الصحيين، ولا سيما اﻷطباء، في حماية السجناء والمحتجزين من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبــة القاسية أو اللاإنســانية أو المهينة وهي المبادئ الواردة في قرار الجمعية العامة ٣٧/١٩٤ المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٨٢.

The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Principles for the protection of persons with mental illness and the improvement of mental health care and the Principles of Medical Ethics relevant to the Role of Health Personnel, particularly Physicians, in the Protection of Prisoners and Detainees against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, should form part of the curricula for these professions.
وينبغي أن تتضمن المناهج الدراسية لهذه المهن اتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، ومبادئ حماية الأشخاص المصابين بمرض عقلي وتحسين العناية بالصحة العقلية، ومبادئ آداب مهنة الطب المتعلقة بدور الموظفين الصحيين، ولا سيما الأطباء، في حماية السجناء والمحتجزين من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

Health staff must comply with the 1982 Principles of Medical Ethics, relevant to the role of health personnel, particularly physicians, in the protection of prisoners and Detainees against Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (General Assembly resolution 37/194, annex).
31- وعلى الموظفين الصحيين أن يمتثلوا لمبادئ آداب مهنة الطب المتعلقة بدور الموظفين الصحيين، ولا سيما الأطباء، في حماية المسجونين والمحتجزين من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة لعام 1982 (مرفق قرار الجمعية لعامة 37/194).

Prison Standing Orders require that in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, medical officers should at all times observe the United Nations Principles of Medical Ethics relevant to the Role of Health Personnel, particularly Physicians, in the Protection of Prisoners and Detainees against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
٠٦١- تتطلب اﻷوامر السارية الخاصة بالسجون من الموظفين الصحيين أن يراعوا، دائما، في تأدية مهامهم ومسؤولياتهم، ما وضعته اﻷمم المتحدة من مبادئ آداب مهنة الطب المتصلة بدور الموظفين الصحيين، ولا سيما اﻷطباء، في حماية المسجونين والمحتجزين من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

Referring to the relevant international instruments on medical ethics and the responsibility of health personnel, in particular the Principles of Medical Ethics relevant to the Role of Health Personnel, particularly Physicians, in the Protection of Prisoners and Detainees against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 37/194 of 18 December 1982,
وإذ تشير إلى الصكوك الدولية ذات الصلة فيما يتعلق بآداب مهنة الطب ومسؤولية الموظفين الصحيين، وخاصة مبادئ آداب مهنة الطب التي تنطبق على دور الموظفين الصحيين، ولا سيما الأطباء، في حماية السجناء والمحتجزين من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهنية، التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة في قرارها 37/194 المؤرخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1982،

Further, the Human Rights Committee has invited States parties to report on the extent to which they apply the United Nations Principles of Medical Ethics relevant to the Role of Health Personnel, particularly Physicians, in the Protection of Prisoners and Detainees against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment adopted by General Assembly resolution 37/194 of 18 December 1982.
