To combat offences facilitated through the use of cyber-technologies, Governments are encouraged to ensure that their national legislation is adequate to sustain the successful investigation and prosecution of such offences within their jurisdictions and that their law enforcement agencies are adequately trained and prepared to enact such powers.

16. Further encourages Member States to exchange information, as appropriate, on best practices to promote cooperation to prevent and combat the smuggling of migrants and coordination to investigate and prosecute the smuggling of migrants, in accordance with applicable domestic and international law;
