States regulating fisheries in areas under their national jurisdiction, and subregional or regional organizations or arrangements establishing conservation and management measures for the same stock(s) on the high seas, should achieve compatible and coherent conservation and management measures.

114. Reaffirms the importance of paragraphs 80 to 91 of resolution 61/105 addressing the impacts of bottom fishing on vulnerable marine ecosystems and the long-term sustainability of deep sea fish stocks and the actions called for in that resolution, and emphasizes the need for full implementation by all States and relevant regional fisheries management organizations or arrangements of their commitments under those paragraphs on an urgent basis;
114 - تؤكد من جديد أهمية الفقرات 80 إلى 91 من القرار 61/105 التي تتناول آثار الصيد في قاع البحار على النظم الإيكولوجية البحرية الهشة والاستدامة الطويلة الأجل للأرصدة السمكية في أعماق البحار والإجراءات التي يدعو إليها ذلك القرار، وتشدد على ضرورة قيام جميع الدول والمنظمات أو الترتيبات الإقليمية المعنية بإدارة مصائد الأسماك بتنفيذ التزاماتها بموجب تلك الفقرات تنفيذا كاملا، على وجه الاستعجال؛

116. Welcomes the important progress made by States, regional fisheries management organizations or arrangements and those States participating in negotiations to establish a regional fisheries management organization or arrangement competent to regulate bottom fisheries to implement paragraphs 80 and 83 to 87 of resolution 61/105 and address the impacts of bottom fishing on vulnerable marine ecosystems;

In addition the Panel cooperates with Member States (in particular those in the region), regional organizations or arrangements (the African Union, ECOWAS, NATO), other international organizations, such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, INTERPOL, civil society and non-governmental organizations.
