These figures are in addition to the 12,000 hectares of legal coca authorized under the law on the regime applicable to coca and controlled substances No. 1008 of 19 July 1988.

Article 23, paragraph 1 (a), of the Convention is implemented through article 3 (a) and (b) of Act No. 72-02 on the Laundering of Assets Obtained from the Illegal Trafficking of Drugs and controlled substances and Other Serious Offences.

١٩١- محاكم المناطق المعنية بالمواد الخاضعة للمراقبة ينشئ القانون المعني بالكوكا والمواد الخاضعة للمراقبة )القانون رقم ٨٠٠١ المؤرخ في ٩١ تموز/يوليه ٨٨٩١( محاكم المناطق الخاصة بالمواد الحاضة للمراقبة وتشمل ولايتها جرائم يحددها ويعاقب عليها هذا القانون.

(d) Governments of the region are encouraged to coordinate in the harmonization and application of their administrative controls over precursor chemicals and controlled substances so as to prevent and discourage circumvention of restrictions over their availability through the diversion of those substances into neighbouring jurisdictions.
(د) تُشجَّع حكومات المنطقة على أن تنسق فيما بينها في إطار المواءمة بين ضوابطها الإدارية المتعلقة بالسلائف والمواد الخاضعة للمراقبة وفي تطبيق تلك الضوابط، وذلك بغية منع وتثبيط أيِّ محاولة للالتفاف على القيود المفروضة على إتاحة تلك المواد من خلال تسريبها إلى البلدان المجاورة.

The revised African Union Plan of Action on Drug Control (2013-2017), which was adopted in October 2012, endorsed the need for capacity-building in research and data collection through strengthening institutions to respond to the challenges of illicit drug use and facilitate the legitimate use and movement of narcotic drugs and controlled substances for lawful and justifiable causes.
30- وقد أَقرَّت خطة عمل الاتحاد الأفريقي المنقحة لمكافحة المخدِّرات (2013-2017)، التي اعتُمدت في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2012، بالحاجة إلى بناء القدرات في مجال البحوث وجمع البيانات عن طريق تعزيز المؤسسات بغية التصدي لتحديات تعاطي المخدِّرات غير المشروعة وتيسير الاستخدام المشروع والحركة المشروعة للعقاقير المخدرة والمواد الخاضعة للمراقبة في الأغراض المشروعة والمبرَّرة.

Among the preventive measures which the Dominican Republic has adopted to implement controls on acts of terrorism is Act No. 72-02 on laundering of the proceeds of drug and controlled substances trafficking and other grave crimes. Article 8 of the Act prohibits taking over US$ 10,000 or its equivalent in pesos out of the country and states that if a person is carrying that sum, he must declare it.
يندرج القانون 72/02 في إطار تدابير الوقاية التي تعتمدها الجمهورية الدومينيكية لمنع وقوع الأعمال الإرهابية إذ يضبط غسل الأموال المتأتية من الاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والمواد الخاضعة للمراقبة وغيره من الجرائم الجسيمة في المادة 8 التي تحظر سحب أكثر من 000 10 دولار من دولارات الولايات المتحدة أو ما يعادلها بالبيزو، وعلى كل شخص يحمل هذا المبلغ أن يعلن عنه.
