In that connection, his Government supported the principles of the Optional Protocols on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography and on the involvement of children in armed conflict and was moving towards their ratification.

458. The Committee recommends that the State party ratify the Optional Protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, and on the involvement of children in armed conflict.

224. The Committee notes that the State party has not signed the Optional Protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, and on the involvement of children in armed conflict.

225. The Committee encourages the State party to sign, ratify and implement the Optional Protocols to the Convention on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, and on the involvement of children in armed conflict.

Nevertheless, it shares the concern of the State party about the absence of a comprehensive and systematic mechanism of data collection, analysis and monitoring on sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography and on the number of children involved in these activities.

1. Where measures to ban the sale of children and child prostitution are concerned, attention is drawn to the signing by Argentina, on 1 April 2002, of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.
1- فيما يتعلق بالتدابير المؤدية إلى حظر بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال، من المهم الإشارة إلى أن الأرجنتين قد وقعَت في 1 نيسان/أبريل 2002 على البروتوكول الاختياري الملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستخدام الأطفال في المواد الإباحية.

3. One of the major actions taken by the Government of Uganda has been the ratification of the Optional Protocols on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, on the sale of the child, child prostitution and child pornography and on the involvement of children in armed conflict.
3- لقد كان أحد الإجراءات الرئيسية التي اتخذتها حكومة أوغندا هو التصديق على البروتوكولين الاختياريين الملحقين باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستخدام الأطفال في المواد الإباحية وبشأن اشتراك الأطفال في النزاعات المسلحة.

457. The Committee notes that the State party has signed but not ratified the two Optional Protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, and on the involvement of children in armed conflict.
457- تلاحظ اللجنة أن الدولة الطرف وقعت على البروتوكولين الاختياريين لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستخدام الأطفال في المواد الإباحية وبشأن إشراك الأطفال في الصراعات المسلحة ولكن لم تصدق عليهما.

355. While noting with appreciation the efforts undertaken by the State Party to implement the Optional Protocol, the Committee is concerned at the absence of a Plan of Action for combating and preventing the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

247. The revision of the National Plan of Action for Children in 2009 and 2009 has included the analysis of strategies/action plans dealing with issues of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

From 25 to 28 November 2008, the Special Rapporteur, together with the Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography and the Special Rapporteur on the human rights aspects of trafficking in persons, especially women and children, attended the Third World Congress on the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
8- وحضرت المقررة الخاصة في الفترة بين 25 و28 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2008، مع المقرر الخاص المعني ببيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستخدام الأطفال في المواد الإباحية والمقرر الخاص المعني بجوانب حقوق الإنسان للاتجار بالأشخاص، ولا سيما المرأة والطفل، المؤتمر العالمي الثالث المعني بالاستغلال الجنسي للأطفال والمراهقين المعقود في ريو دي جانيرو بالبرازيل.

90. It is worth noting that the Republic of Yemen acceded to the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography by Act No. 20 of 2004. The ratification Act was published in issue No. 16 of the Official Gazette in 2004. Yemen submitted its initial report on the implementation of the Optional Protocol to the Committee on the Rights of the Child in January 2008.
90- وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن الجمهورية اليمنية صدقت على البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل المتعلق ببيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستخدام الأطفال في المواد الإباحية بالقانون رقم 20 لسنة 2004 وتم نشر قانون التصديق في الجريدة الرسمية في العدد 16 لسنة 2004، وتم تقديم أول تقرير عن مستوى تنفيذ البروتوكول وإرساله إلى اللجنة الدولية لحقوق الطفل في كانون الثاني/يناير 2008.
