Welcomes the ongoing efforts to explore ways in which a new and strengthened relationship may be established between the General Assembly and its subsidiary organs on the one hand and the Inter-Parliamentary Union on the other, and encourages Member States to continue their consultations with a view to adopting a decision thereon during the fifty-seventh session of the Assembly;

Also welcomes the important contribution of the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group to the effectiveness of international urban search and rescue assistance, and encourages Member States to continue to support the Advisory Group, in line with General Assembly resolution 57/150 of 16 December 2002;

Stresses the importance of the contributions of Member States to the Trust Fund in support of the Office of the President of the General Assembly, and in this regard notes with appreciation contributions that have been made to the Fund and encourages Member States to continue to contribute to the Fund;

6 - تطلب إلى اللجنة والشعبة أن تواصلا، في إطار الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني في 29 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، تنظيم معرض سنوي عن حقوق الفلسطينيين بالتعاون مع بعثة المراقب الدائم لفلسطين لدى الأمم المتحدة، وتشجع الدول الأعضاء على مواصلة تقديم أوسع دعم وتغطية إعلامية للاحتفال بيوم التضامن.

Stresses the importance of implementing nationally appropriate social protection systems and measures for all, including floors, and of achieving substantial coverage of the poor and the vulnerable, and encourages Member States to continue developing and implementing social protection floors based on national priorities, paying particular attention to women, children, older persons and persons with disabilities;
31 - تؤكد أهمية تنفيذ نظم وتدابير حماية اجتماعية مناسبة على الصعيد الوطني للجميع، بما في ذلك وضع حدود دنيا لها، وتحقيق تغطية صحية واسعة للفقراء والضعفاء، وتشجع الدول الأعضاء على مواصلة وضع وتنفيذ الحدود الدنيا للحماية الاجتماعية استنادا إلى الأولويات الوطنية، مع إيلاء اهتمام خاص للنساء والأطفال والمسنين والأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة؛

6. Calls upon Member States, United Nations agencies and bodies, civil society organizations and academic institutions to take into account the role the family plays as a contributor to sustainable development, and encourages Member States to continue providing information on their activities in support of the objectives of the International Year and its follow-up processes, to be included in the report of the Secretary-General;
