83. The General Assembly, in its resolution 57/289, endorsed the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in its report (A/57/593, para. 23) on the conditions of service for the ad litem judges of ICTR.

24. It should be noted that non-implementation of some of the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in its report of 17 March 1994 (A/48/906), was due to the short period of time that has elapsed since the General Assembly took action on the Committee's recommendations.
٢٤ - ويجدر بالذكر أن عدم تنفيذ بعض ملاحظات وتوصيات اللجنة الاستشارية الواردة في تقريرها المؤرخ ١٧ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٤ )A/48/906(، كان مرده الى قصر الفترة التي انقضت منذ اتخاذ الجمعية العامة ﻹجراءاتها بشأن توصيات اللجنة.

Also requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the above-mentioned report is consistent with the direction of the Organization's broader information and communication technology strategy and that it takes into account the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in paragraphs 102 to 106 of its report;3
12 - تطلب أيضا إلى الأمين العام أن يكفل أن يكون التقرير المذكور أعلاه متسقا مع توجه استراتيجية تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات الأوسع نطاقا وأن يراعي ملاحظات وتوصيات اللجنة الاستشارية الواردة في الفقرتين 102 إلى 106 من تقريرها(3)؛

Also requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the above-mentioned report is consistent with the direction of the Organization's broader information and communication technology strategy and that it takes into account the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in paragraphs 102 to 106 of its report;3
12 - تطلب أيضا إلى الأمين العام أن يكفل أن يكون التقرير المذكور أعلاه متسقا مع توجه استراتيجية المنظمة لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات الأوسع نطاقا وأن يراعي ملاحظات وتوصيات اللجنة الاستشارية الواردة في الفقرات 102 إلى 106 من تقريرها(3)؛

Endorses the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in paragraphs 35 to 39 of its report,2 concerning the wholesale conversion, bearing in mind the fact that the General Assembly has taken no decision to support the replacement of the 300 series contracts as a mechanism for the employment of staff in peacekeeping missions;

By its resolution 61/245, the General Assembly endorsed the conclusions and recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in its report on the comprehensive review of governance and oversight within the United Nations and its funds, programmes and specialized agencies (A/61/605).
