354. At the 288th meeting, on 16 January 1996, the Executive Director of UNFPA addressed the Committee, stating that the Fund would work with other United Nations agencies to inform women's non-governmental organizations and human rights advocates of the work of the Committee.
٤٥٣ - في الجلسة ٢٨٨ المعقودة في ١٦ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٦، تحدثت المديرة التنفيذية لصندوق اﻷمم المتحدة للسكان أمام اللجنة. وأوضحت أن الصندوق سوف يعمل مع وكالات اﻷمم المتحدة اﻷخرى على إبلاغ المنظمات النسائية غير الحكومية ودعاة حقوق اﻹنسان بأعمال اللجنة.

121. ١٢١- إن تجاهل المبادئ اﻷساسية لكرامة اﻹنسان والمساواة وعدم تجزؤ الحقوق التي تذكرنا بأهميتها خبرات الفقراء جداً، إنما يعرض لخطر لا سبيل لاصلاحه اللقاء بين الفقراء جداً ودعاة حقوق اﻹنسان الذي حاولت اللجنة تحقيقه من خلال قراراتها المتلاحقة وهذه الدراسة.

The Committee urges the Government to take all necessary steps, including protective and pre-emptive measures, to ensure that members of various social sectors, particularly members of the judiciary, lawyers, journalists, human rights activists, members of trade unions and members of political parties, are enabled to perform their duties without intimidation of any sort.
٢٤٦ - وتحث اللجنة الحكومة على اتخاذ جميع الخطوات اللازمة، بما في ذلك التدابير الحمائية والوقائية، لضمان تمكين أفراد مختلف القطاعات الاجتماعية، ولا سيما أعضاء السلطة القضائية والمحامون والصحفيون ودعاة حقوق اﻹنسان وأعضاء النقابات وأعضاء اﻷحزاب السياسية، من أداء واجباتهم بدون تخويف من أي نوع.
