The Committee requests the Government to pass a law against violence, especially against domestic violence, including marital rape, as soon as possible and to ensure that violence against women and girls constitutes a crime punishable under criminal law and that women and girls victims of violence have immediate means of redress and protection.
177 - وتطلب اللجنة إلى الحكومة أن تسن قانونا لمناهضة العنف، ولا سيما العنف العائلي، بما فيه الاغتصاب في إطار الزواج، في أقرب وقت ممكن، وأن تضمن أن يشكل العنف المرتكب ضد النساء والفتيات جريمة تستوجب العقوبة بموجب القانون الجنائي، وأن تتاح للنساء والفتيات اللائى يقعن ضحايا للعنف وسائل فورية للانتصاف والحماية.
