٨٠ - خلال فترة التقرير، تركزت أعمال الوحدة المشتركة مع اللجنة الاقتصادية ﻷوروبا على تقديم الدعم المباشر الى الاقتصادات التي تمر بمرحلة تحول في وسط أوروبا وشرقيها في مجال اعادة تشكيل الشركات الصناعية عن طريق الاستثمار المباشر اﻷجنبي والتمويل الخارجي.

The Unit contributed to several international conferences focussing on FDI in Central and Eastern Europe. The Joint Unit also contributed articles to various international journals on the economic problems facing the economies in transition.
٨١ - وساهمت الوحدة في عدد من المؤتمرات الدولية التي ركزت على الاستثمار المباشر اﻷجنبي في وسط أوروبا وشرقيها كما ساهمت الوحدة بمقالات نشرت في عدة مجلات دولية عن المشاكل الاقتصادية التي تواجه الاقتصادات المتحولة.
