His delegation firmly supported the legitimate rights of the Argentine Republic in the sovereignty dispute with the United Kingdom over the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia Islands and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding maritime areas, which unquestionably were part of the territory of Argentina.
8 - وأكد تأييد وفده الراسخ للحقوق المشروعة لجمهورية الأرجنتين في نزاع السيادة القائم مع المملكة المتحدة على جزر مالفيناس وجزر جورجيا الجنوبية وسندويتش الجنوبية والمناطق البحرية المحيطة بها، التي تعد بلا شك جزءا من إقليم الأرجنتين.

25. His delegation supported Argentina's legitimate rights in the dispute over the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia Islands and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding maritime areas; there was no doubt that the Malvinas Islands were and would continue to be part of Argentina's national territory.

Uruguay had consistently supported Argentina's legitimate sovereignty claim over the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia Islands and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding maritime areas, not only because Argentina was its neighbour but also because of the claim's geographical, historical and legal basis.

8. Mr. Dos Santos (Paraguay) said that his country's position on the legitimate rights of the Argentine Republic with respect to the long-standing sovereignty dispute over the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia Islands and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding maritime areas was unwavering.

Furthermore, within the framework of the international agreements in force, they undertake to inform the Argentine Government about any vessels or marine structures travelling to the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia Islands and South Sandwich Islands with cargo to be used for illegal hydrocarbon and/or mining activities on the Argentine continental shelf, thereby preventing or disrupting such activities.
