It recommended that the root causes of inter-tribal conflicts be addressed; the allocation of more funds and increased support for the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants; that special attention be given to the study of the increasingly spreading xenophobia phenomena in Southern and western Sudan and its damaging effects on peace and security; and a peace conference with the objective of solving tribal conflicts.
وأوصت الجمعية بمعالجة الأسباب الحقيقية لهذه النزاعات؛ وتخصيص المزيد من التمويل وزيادة الدعم المقدم لنزع سلاح المقاتلين السابقين وتسريحهم وإعادة إدماجهم؛ وإيلاء مزيد من الاهتمام لدراسة انتشار ظاهرة الكراهية في جنوب وغرب السودان وتأثيرها المدمر على السلم والأمن(54)؛ وتنظيم مؤتمر سلام بهدف تسوية النزاعات القبلية(55).
