With regard to marine transport of radioactive materials and the lack of appropriate regimes for liability and compensation in the case of accidents, although we recognize that some progress has been made within the International Atomic Energy Agency, we share the view of the Caribbean Community on the need to take more effective measures to meet the concerns of small island developing States and other coastal States.
